Great location and view from the room. Quiet at this time of year. Late October. I hear it can be crazy busy in the summer and fishing season. Nice bed. Clean bathroom.
The carpet was stained in places.

Lots of room. Nice breakfast
I prefer inside doors and our room door like all the room doors were on the outside. Not their fault. We still felt safe.

Great view; perfect location for the Great Columbia Crossing event (right near one of the shuttle pickups and right near the finish line). Front desk staff was very friendly and informative. Having a breakfast option is great, though I have not yet tried it myself. The double queen room I was in has two sinks, one in the toilet/shower area and one outside of the bathroom, allowing for multiple guests to use sinks simultaneously.
Overall appearance is pretty dated (though that is part of the charm). Some of the bathroom fixtures look like they could use replacing/updating. A few times outside the smell of fish from the marina was a bit overwhelming.

Perfectly adequate hotel, and a better value than most other hotels in Astoria. The room is fine, despite the building being pretty old and the floors sloping, making me wonder if the whole place is going to fall apart soon. Still, the beds are comfortable and the room was big enough.
The breakfast is very minimal. I was meeting another family member there, and we had to pay $20/day for them to park at the hotel, as you only get one parking space allotted per room.
