The location was nice with the beach close. Watching the pelicans and walking the beach were highlights. Several dog friendly restaurants are near the motel and we enjoyed both RH Pub & Grill and the Fat Irish Kitchen & Pub.
The breakfast at the motel was mediocre with powdered eggs and the sausage wasn't browned. The location was nice with an ocean view but the amount of driftwood made it difficult to maneuver to the beach and to see the beach from the 1st floor room. The outdoor space of the room consisted of a very narrow railed patio that didn't allow for convient access to walk the dog. Because we had a dog we were required to have a first floor room which was especially noisy with the upstairs guests overhead. The motel is supposed to be dog friendly but the restaurant doesn't have any dog friendly outdoor areas. Overall, the room was no where near worth the more than $400 a night cost.
