Hotel stay in Gatlinburg

Located on the main road.

Broken handle on the closet door, broken fixers. The room was remolded but fixtures and mirrors weren't properly installed.

It was a nice location, and we would consider staying there again.

The location was walking distance to the shopping area. We were there during the off season and they rates were very good. The clerk who checked us in on the first night was very courteous and helpful.

There was some construction very close to the buildings, in an area that was not part of the hotel. We heard the machinery working very early in the morning. This was not the hotel's fault though, and hopefully short lived.

Roach rooms need repairs.

The location was very convenient, everything else was absolutely horrible! I know of MUCH nicer, cleaner and cheaper rooms in the area that I should have got but because of the pics on the website, I thought I'd get a very beautiful up scale room for a nice getaway for my wife and I. But not at all what I got, room not only was disgusting but falling apart badly. I will NEVER stay at any Clarion again. This was awful!!!

Pics on the website are deceiving. The room I over paid for looked and was NOTHING like the website pics. Room falling apart, the soap & lotion was used by previous guests, and had a cockroach problem. I wish I could get my money back. This ruined my stay. I can add more but I just hit the main points.

Comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

I enjoyed the 3rd floor balcony.. good view, nice vibe at night.. and pool was nice too.

The battery to the door was dead I’m assuming so the door never actually was locked.. had to dead bolt it and latch it when sleep and when leaving just had to have faith nobody tried anything.

Not worth what we paid

Ok let me start off by saying we stayed in room 216 in building B. The room was nothing as shown in the photos on this website it was outdated and dirty. The bathroom had hair all over the floor and the shower curtain in the shower didn’t even go all the way to the floor, so there was water everywhere after showering. When I pulled back the covers on the bed, I found hair all over the sheets from top to bottom. The room is a dull and dingy this room. Looks like it’s about to undergo the remodel as it is completely bare minimum. There is exposed outlets on the wall with wires. There is an exposed outlet under the air conditioner with a hole cut in the floor. We have a table with no chairs, a mini fridge and microwave that are just standing there and bathroom that has been updated but it’s already destroyed, I feel as though this hotel is misrepresenting it’s a Rooms to Customers.

Paid waaay too much for a non wheelchair accesible motel.

Breakfast choices quite good. Location STUNK. Traveled with a wheelchair bound sister, and no way is this place wheelchair accesible. The breakfast area has absolutely NO rooms that can be wheelchairs down to it. And, even the elevator does NOT go down to the area. This means putting wheelchair in trunk of car and dragging it out after arriving at breakfast area, which has 1 very narrow handicapped parking area, thenputting it back in trunk. Then going back to room and removing chair again. TERRIBLE.

Obviously the above was a very major problem for us (2 rooms). My sister and her husband (room 1029) and I (room 1027) both had non-finished rooms. Tiles missing in shower area, towel rod not there, and rooms not as clean as they should be.

Our stay was concerning and exhausting.

The location was good for our purpose of the visit. We were traveling through the area, so it was easy access to the road we were traveling.

The entry door only had a lock on the handle because the previous extra locks (maybe the bar style or chain style, had been ripped out of the door frame), bathroom door was severely damaged the inside components of the door were now on the outside, qa smoke detector was present but no sign of interior sprinkler system, the water only got warm never hot, the coffee maker in the room was gross. We tried to find another place to stay once we got into the room but due to an event in the area every place was either booked or charging 4x’s the regular rate. We took turns sleeping, so someone could be alert especially after our door was knocked on multiple times during the evening.
