The location was perfect for our plans between yellowstone and Cody. The room and lodge was very nicely kept and clean. Annette was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this lodge

This property is outside the East gate of Yellowstone but it is about 20 miles. Great property and close to Cody, Parking was right outside the door. The room was spacious and had a full kitchen. We even had chairs to sit and watch tv, if we had time to. The beds were comfortable. Nicely priced and cute decor. Family owned and ran. Great hosts.
It was dark when we returned from dinner even with our outside light on. We didn't not have enough time to explore more. It was a quick overnight stay.

The Wapiti Lodge was a great stop on our travels. Whilst it looked a bit dated (and deserted) on arrival, it was actually a great place to stay. Some of the reviews here are very unfair (there was PLENTY of toilet paper!!) The rooms were super comfortable, and the staff very helpful.
Sadly, the restaurant is no longer open, but Matt explained the situation and offered us advice on local options.

The clean room and close to city of Cody
location to highway was too close
felt the web sight was deceiving: expecting a cabin not a road front room
no meals were served
