Was riding the Empire State Trail on my bike with a couple of buddies. We needed a place to stay on our way up to Rhinebeck. Staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Recommendations for dinner where spot on.
Facilities are tired and rundown. But for the price that we paid, I can't complain too much.

Ha. No breakfast.. NO COFFEE
This was not a good experience.
We requested an early check in as we were in town for a wedding. They could not accommodate that and we were told a firm 3 pm check in. We arrived back to the property at 3:20. Still no room. (Two rooms, told the same thing). We were then told
“If you wanted to be safe you should have booked last night too). WHAT????
The property is old… and while mostly clean, it is very rundown. But the Saturday after noon desk clerk was beyond bad. And there was no one at the desk at check out Sunday morning. A sign on the desk saying so….
Basically…. Good luck here.
