Beautiful, relaxing getaway

Beautiful location and facilities. View was overlooking the lake and restaurant. The staff were very helpful and carrying. The onsite restaurant with lake view was very cozy and the food was excellent.

Had a small issue with heater that staff addressed

This property was a delightful surprise! The room size, amenities and location were wonderful!

Breakfast at Melange was great. The setting, overlooking the lake, is beautiful and the food was very good and priced well for the location.

Wonderful setting and wanted to enjoy it more.

Curtains need sheers for privacy. Shower leaked profusely. Light over bath sink bulb out and lighting bad for makeup. Carpet was dirty and frayed. Vacuum cleaner was left in the room. TV settings were wonky. But the staff was excellent responding to our requests with cheerfulness.

With high expectations squashed by 2nd night of our 6 night stay we won't be returning

The room was very quiet and comfortable.

We had to empty our own trash and clean our own room and continually ask for trash bags and clean towels. At one point we were just given a whole roll of trashbags as if they were tired of us asking. Most staff members were hard to find and we had to ask 2 or 3 times for the same thing. We were given no information, not even a parking pass the night we checked in. We learned about the rules and parking pass by over hearing someone else checking in the next day.

Very expensive for what it was offered. the staff was awesome the hotel wasn't.

the location was good and the lake was very pretty

It's old and the furnishings are run down. the best are too soft and my room, which was advertised as deluxe was very very plain. and the lighting is terrible and there was only one small mirror in the dimly lit bstjroom

Not a honest business to over charge me after confirming no internet.

The room was a nice room, but no internet in the room. I had to check out.

Over charged, my booking.com rate was not honored and I was charged $900 for one night!

This hotel is worth every penny!

This hotel was immaculate with breathtaking views of the lake. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

A spacious, comfortable room with a great view of the lake! Would definitely come back.

The room was spacious, the bed was great. Loved having the little patio right on the lake, seeing the swans, turtles & fish! Breakfast outside on the common patio was delicious, great view, the waiter was great.

Nothing major, but a few minor quibbles. The shower door leaked - had to roll up a hand towel where the door meets the shower wall to prevent water running out onto the floor by the sink. The bathroom vent fan cover in the ceiling was caked with dust. There was a horizontal rip at waist height all the way across the screen door to the patio.

Beautiful, quiet location but convenient to area shops , main thoroughfare and Old Town La Quinta and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice location

The bed was extremely comfortable.the safe in the hotel room was great, I a Was able to lock my laptop computer up safely.

The reception area was very dark and looked in need of an update. The color was way too dark.

The restaurant was closed during or stay. No indication was made of this when we booked

We made special request for early arrival of 2pm. The room was not ready til 3 . if checkout is 11 they could have made up the room by 2 . They hadn’t even started cleaning our room til 2pm (per the front desk person)

The view and quietness are outstanding. Love this is a small hotel with a very friendly staff!

View was outstanding, plenty of space, nice amenities. Great dinning experience as well.

Mattress was just ok. Carpet seems old, would have like wood floors like the other rooms. Would love to have had access to the lake, like a boat ride, or paddle boat, would definitely pay for that.

Very nice hotel with very good view

Very clean, quiet with good view of the lake.

Restaurant was closed during my entire stay so we must go out to eat. Moreover, the smell of fertilizer used for the garden was too strong and horrible!

Beautiful room and amenities

Bathroom was not clean...totally did not vacuum the floor in the bathroom...hair and threads everywhere, toilet seat was loose and shower door was on the wrong side of frame so water was everywhere after shower...would have expected towels to be a little more luxurious for room style decor,inside of bathroom door was dirty didn’t want to spend our time taking pictures

Weekend Getaway

We loved our room and the beautiful lake view. Parking and access to our room was great. Our breakfast was excellent. Service was very good. We had the pool to ourselves on Saturday and enjoyed it. Really appreciated the welcome note and sparkling water.

Upon arrival there was no one to greet us. The night manager wasn’t very friendly on the two interactions we had with him, the rest of the staff was very nice. The property is showing wear and tear and little things aren’t attended to…broken outdoor lamps, fraying table mats, umbrellas unopened, pool lounges had bird droppings, WE skimmed the pool. Everything generally needed some attention to detail. After we checked in we were pretty much on our own…never were told what wifi and password were. Details matter and simple gestures go a long way like the welcome note in our room! Do more things like that. We want you to be successful!

Fireplace in the room out of service and pool heater not working

The location was pretty and serene. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. It was a cute small boutique hotel with pretty grounds.

We picked the hotel because the room has a fireplace and they had a pool and jacuzzi. The pool wasn’t heated and jacuzzi wasn’t either. They said jacuzzi wasn’t heated because of COVID regulations, but we had stayed in several locations around Southern California and they all had their jacuzzis heated. After multiple requests they turned on the heater in the pool, but it took so long we left by the time it might have gotten warm. The gas line to the fireplace was supposedly broken so we couldn’t use the fireplace either.

Superb

Comfortable and great location, great views!. Beautiful patio by the lake. Restaurant is also has great menus and delicious. Great service and friendly staff!

Room next door was so loud. We're in room 203 for four night, the third night was the other night that we have a difficult time to get rest. Restaurant was closed the first two nights when we stayed there.

The location and view

They have just let the place go….it is old with worn down furniture……not immaculate at all….needs a revamp of the furniture, paint job in the rooms and better and full amenities for the rooms!!
