Thiis the fourth time we have staed at the Compass Rose which tells you that it is an exceptional property. It is a welcoming historic home, roomy and charming. The breakfast is consistently excellent with a good array of coices.

Location was great- easy walk to everything! Clean, warm, welcoming place to stay. Room was large, very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. No complaints! Will definitely stay here again!

The rooms were spacious and included a sitting room with comfortable furniture and a desk and reading corner. The location couldn’t be better for seeing Newburyport and dining at some great restaurants.
