If we come back to Colorado Springs and have the opportunity, I would definitely stay at the Academy again.

It was really a cool property, they even have an indoor swimming pool. We loved our room, it was comfortable and inviting and very clean. We got a really good nights sleep there the bed was very comfortable. And in the morning the breakfast buffet was amazing and the server that we had, she was the nicest lady. The front desk staff very friendly very nice.

I really do not have a bad thing to say about this hotel. It was a very good experience.

Unique, clean, comfortable hotel for a great price!

Breakfast was amazing! There was a full omelette bar, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc every morning. The rooms were very comfortable and the atrium area was so interesting and fun to see. It definitely seems like it caters to an older crowd, which my husband and I didn't mind at all.

The wifi was down the entire duration of our stay. Also, the pool is in the middle of the atrium and in full view of anyone walking past.

I wished the scrambled eggs on the buffet had been cooked a little longer, they were a little runny -but I am also picky about my food.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The property was well kept.

There a smoking station right outside the rear entrance. In order to enter the building, you had to walk pass the person or persons who were smoking.

I was charged for a room I couldn't check into by a rude clerk.

They didn't accept my card as a form of payment and then marked me as a no-show. My card was still charged (even though the clerk told me she didn't run my card) and they marked my as a "no-show" on my reservation. I will be awaiting my refund for 7-10 business days. I guess they do accept my card as it ran and completed the transaction.

I particularly didn't enjoy being left without a place to stay at 8pm with my kids. I am also very unhappy about the card situation explained above.

would stay here again for sure!

common areas were inviting and relaxing. loved the fireplace and kids LOVED the pool areas. nice restaurant available also. room was clean and they had the extra bed we ordered was there in the room and ready when we checked in.

the entry side door that was close to our room didn’t unlock with the keycard, it seemed like it was stuck or something so we weren’t able to use it. the front main entrance was fine to use just a little longer walk to our room.

Great overall experience, exceptional value, perfect location.

The room was very nice, clean and in great condition. The free breakfast was awesome, more than I was expecting in a free hotel breakfast. The facility was a great experience for the modest price.

I would definitely NOT stay here again. the accommodations were sub par, and the staff indifferent I was sorely disappo

The property is in close proximity to amenities, restaurants and USAFA. There is a breakfast offered at the property and a large fire pit to gather around.

The room was NOT well appointed, lacked basic amenities, was extremely worn and dilapidated and had a strong and unpleasant odor. In the bathroom, the shower drain was clogged and no hair dryer was provided. The staff were absolutely ambivalent and unmotivated to assist when things were not up to expectations and made no efforts to resolve the many issues I experienced with the accommodations ( odor, clogged drain, no hairdryer, etc.) The staff may have been the most apathetic I have ever encountered in my travels.

Good

The staff was so friendly and seemed to get a long well with each other. It was beautiful in the lobby.

The only thing that bothered me was the constant smell of chlorine since the pool is basically in the lobby

Will Never stay there again

close to our activity

it was dirty. our blind would not close out street lights. It was broken 2 feet from bottom. coffee maker was broken, internet code did not work, huge stain in the carpet. The hotel in general is old and dated!!!

Disappointing stay, depressing exterior and little better than a budget hotel

I was under the impression that the hotel was adjacent to the Air Force Academy. It was about 15 min away. The exterior and location was just like any of the other budget hotels in the area. Lots of trash outdoors, no landscaping. They said the exterior doors were locked on the outside for safety. Not true. We saw a homeless person entering and using the free washer dryer on our floor The hotel seems poorly run. There was not a hair dryer in my room. I asked the front desk for one and they said they would send one to our room. After an hour, I asked again. The front desk agent had tried to ask an associate for help who was off duty that day?! The atrium where breakfast is served was freezing cold on a morning when it was 30 degrees outside. The air conditioner was running. They couldn’t turn it off because the maintenance man had not yet arrived to work. Do not recommend. Wish we had stayed somewhere downtown.
