La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Steamboat Springs

It was clean and well taken care of. The 2 front desk staff personnel were AWESOME, super helpful and polite. Even the cleaning staff were all so polite and accommodating!!! I will definitely stay at this facility again when I return to Steamboat Springs at the end of September and again in January of 2027.

There were several rooms that had dogs in them and they barked all night long (Sept 1st). I did not get any sleep at all. To be fair, I don’t think the staff knew that the construction worker staying there had snuck their dogs into the room (we saw them do it by quickly carrying the dogs inside their room and avoiding staff). I will see about room availability when I come back to Steamboat in late September. Off-Season room pricing was very fair and I felt it was a good value for the money spent. Keep up the good work on the property and please retain all your staff because they were so great to deal with (especially Laura the front desk night time lady.

Just across the street from the bike path. The breakfast room was nice and bright and comfy.

The ac was very very loud. Our room keys didn't work with the back door a few times which was a pain.

Excellent price for being within city limits of Steamboat Springs, a notoriously expensive ski/tourist town. Clean, fresh room (#096, main floor), very comfortable King bed with an open-concept extra space with sleepable sofa and an additional flatscreen TV. The walk-in shower was stellar! About 2 or 3 easy-driving miles to the wonderful old town.

$12 for parking!!!! Who'da thunk it? Free Breakfast, up to good La Quinta standards, started, however, a 7 and not at 6. Too late for this couple, so we went downtown to The Shack --- very nice, and they DO open at 6.
