I have several good things to say about this property. I have stayed there many times. They have updated to mini splits and it makes the room very very comfortable. The AC works wonderful and you can control the settings especially during those hot days. I slept very well. The beds and pillows are super super comfortable. They also have toiletries for you and they put little snacks in your room , which I think is the sweetest thing. They also have nice landscaping around and pleasant music playing out front. Another thing I liked is that they had water stations. You could fill up your water bottles and lemon water as well as coffee 24 hours which was a really nice touch. They also have little balconies, which I really liked as well.. they provide breakfast in the morning and have a little happy hour in the evening. Every time I stay in Escondido, I stay there. I believe the rooms are reasonably priced if you book it early enough. I absolutely love their bedding. They get a 10 for comfort.

The location for our visit.
The hotel was old. The carpets were wrinkled and not affixed to the floors as well as stained. The tubs and faucets were old and obviously painted over. The complimentary snack basket provided had expired snacks. The entry/pedestrian doors were full of old dead bugs and webs. The small breakfast area was a 1 or 2 rooms that were converted and still had the bathroom next to the eating area. The traffic to get in or out was awful because it is next to In and Out Burger. Those customers took much of the parking that should have been designated for hotel guests. The bed skirts were stained and the beds were comfy enough. Inspite of the circumstances and holiday (Labor Day) we had to sleep somewhere...
