Location, closeness to everything around
Pool was not up and running,spa wasn't up and operational, room was freshly painted and odor was strong. The television didn't work.

The friendliness of staff. Quick check in and out.
There were only 2 each of the bath towels. No where to sit except for bed and a Very uncomfortable and unsteady desk chair.

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was the normal breakfast.
This hotel is old. Very clean but old. I wouldn't want to stay more than a night. If I had to stay in Pineville again I think I would choose the Holiday Inn down the street.

While Christians are generally encouraged to refrain from a spirit of complaining and to approach life with a positive attitude, there are circumstances where providing constructive feedback is essential. The biblical directive from Philippians 2:14 to "do all things without grumbling" should not prevent individuals from addressing issues that require attention, especially in service-oriented settings. In this case, the initial experience at check-in was less than satisfactory, with the guest service representative informing me that my room would not be available until 3 PM due to cleaning delays. While waiting, I observed that another guest was able to check in without issue. This situation raised questions about the efficiency of the hotel’s operations and highlighted the importance of clear communication and transparency with guests.
When I interacted with the hotel manager, Rebecca, I aimed to maintain a spirit of grace-filled communication. After providing my cash deposit, I hoped for immediate acknowledgment through a receipt, which is a standard expectation in such transactions. However, my experience was marred by a lack of attentiveness, and when I entered my designated room, I encountered another layer of concern. The area was cluttered with construction materials, including a rug that posed a tripping hazard and buckets of paint in the aisle. Additionally, the workers were using language that was inappropriate and uncomfortable for me as a Christian woman. After reaching out to Rebecca, I expressed my concerns respectfully, which led to her offering a more suitable queen suite and addressing the workers regarding their language. This situation exemplifies how constructive feedback can lead to positive change when delivered with kindness and respect.
Upon checking out, however, the interaction with the blonde receptionist left much to be desired.
