The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the private balcony in the evenings and mornings, overlooking the Potomac River. The covered parking garage was nicely lit and easily accessed with the luggage cart.
Our bathtub backed up with about 6 inches of water and took several hours to drain. We did report this at checkout and the staff should be taking care of it.

The staff was exceptional and the location
The room was dirty, there was garbage in the cabinets, granola wrappers in the pullout sofa, and our blankets had hard and crusty stains on them. There were only news and sports channels to watch on television. Couldn't open the window in the bedroom because there was no screen. Couldn't reach the front desk from our room because the phone at the front desk wasn't working. Overall, the hotel seems very rundown. It was not a good price for the stay.
