Very poor

The room doesn’t look like it was updated since the 80’s. Everything from the leaky faucet to the air conditioning unit looked extremely old and not functioning properly. The beds and bedding/pillows were extremely uncomfortable and made sleep very hard to come by. Some of the food items at breakfast had been expired for weeks and the front desk employee couldn’t have cared any less when he was told.

Will never stay at this property again. Worst experience ever

Scheduled our booked rooms on opposite sides of hotel. Hallways filthy. Lights unplugged in room- had to move bed to connect the lamp. Other guests were in parking lot having a bbq with lawn chairs and their kids were running through the parking lot. Water rings in toilet. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Pool was out of order but this wasn’t disclosed on website or updated. No toiletries in room except a single small bar of soap. Rooms are quoted as queen beds, but no bigger than full. Additionally the tv doesn’t work in the room and we were not notified of that when we checked in.

A shabby hotel - it was inexpensive but not comfortable and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Breakfast was a pitcher of Tang and a bag of bread next to a toaster. I skipped it.

The bathroom sink was plugged, the bed was old and the pillows were old and flat. The room was freezing when I entered - the room heater was noisy and when I turned it off it made a dripping sound for the rest of the night. Furniture was old and mismatched.

I loved the easy access on parking and getting into the building

pool was down;bathroom had a used soap bar inside; can’t say for sure the sheets were replaced before us due to dark long hair being inside in the bedsheets discovered while leaving our stay

Misleading Website & Unpleasant Property

Location

Their website pictures were not reflective of the actual property. They did not disclose that the property was under construction. Pool was closed, furniture stacked in public areas, sections closed, cold inside building and rooms; in general - VERY UNPLEASANT!

My friends room. Nice clean newly remodeled. Plush pillows and blankets.

Had requested a 2 Queen bed room, nope got a 1 Queen bed room with lousy flat pillows thin blankets, hair dryer didn't work, in the construction area. Will not be staying here again.

It never happened

We never saw the place. I made the reservation on my phone while traveling through the Upper Peninsula. I inadvertently clicked on Iron Mountain instead of Ironwood, MI. Two seconds after I recognized my mistake. I immediately phoned to Iron Mountain to cancel. They were very kind. I tried to contact booking.com by telephone, email, etc. but could not reach them. I called Iron Mountain back and said I was worried that Booking.com would still charge me for a room I did not use. The manager and front desk assured me that they had immediately canceled it with booking.com, but I still it is still haunting me. We are elderly and can not afford to pay for two rooms for that night. I hope booking.com is listening to me and not charging me for a mistake.

That it appears that booking.com is still charging me for an unused room.

Railing for bathrooms. Traveling with someone with mobilitly issues and railing in tub and by toilet would made it so she was able do things on her own.
