The entire Inn is furnished to an exceptional standard with lots of character and individuality in each of the public rooms and large bedrooms. The decor throughout is exceptionally tasteful and we were greeted with a warm welcome and helpful advice on what to do and where to go .. would recommend highly and we will definitely return..

The inn is historic but brought into contemporary time. The attention to guest amenities was a nice surprise.

Nice looking building. Located close to the center of Bar Harbor which is nice. Cozy room.
Room service was on an ask only basis which was made difficult since there wasn't someone available 24x7. This was unexpected for the cost. Had several spiders in the room. Dead mouse outside the building one morning. A/C unit was difficult to configure to keep the room comfortable. The bed was very uncomfortable. Toilet seat was practically falling off. Absolutely no place to hang wet towels.
