The view from literally everywhere we walked/went was just gorgeous. The staff was very friendly at check in and when requesting fresh towels. The breakfast at The Oaks Kitchen was amazing. Food was very tasty.
Roof repair was being done while we were there, we were not informed about that or we may have chosen a room on the first floor.
Service at the Marina restaurant was less than stellar. A very long wait in the middle of the day when their wasn't many guests.
Although the breakfast was delicious at the Oaks, we saw 2 spiders while there. This was the first weekend of fairly cold weather so no doubt all the creepy crawlies are trying to find warmth too, it was just a little unnerving to encounter one climbing down the curtains next to my face while eating.

Beautiful facility. Great location.
Trash cans on property were full for several days before being emptied. Maybe short staffed?
No microwave in room, had to go down to a first floor shared one to use everyday.

It was a beautiful area.
The roof was in pretty bad shape but they were working on it while we were there. The property is a bit on the rundown side could use an update. We stayed two nights the first night in the first room. While we were sleeping, we realized there was no heat in the room. It was a pretty cold night so this was uncomfortable. I reported this to the staff in the morning. I would’ve thought management would’ve contacted me, but I heard nothing. Some kind of acknowledgment would’ve been nice.
