A Wonderful Experience

If there is a cleaner place in all of Door County, I would be very surprised. Our room was immaculate. The view from our room was spectacular. Who can beat a completely unobstructed view of Lake Michigan?

The fan on the heating unit was a bit loud. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they were very receptive and vowed to look into the issue

It was an amazing stay and the new owners are awesome!!!

This was our first time to visit Door County. The Square Rigger Lodge was exactly what we were looking for. The sunrise over Lake Michigan was amazing.... A very quiet location with easy access.

Lovely small lodge provided rest for our soul, and the location next to Lake Michigan was wonderful.

Very quaint, beautiful view right next to Lake Michigan. our room was very comfortable and we loved the balcony that ran across the length of the building. we came from a big city and this small lodge provided a very relaxed atmosphere. The small town grocery store just steps away had the best breakfast sausage I’ve ever had. The town park is also very close to the lodge, and there is a really cute coffee shop attached to the lodge.

Our room was on the second level and due to some physical limitations, my husband and I struggled a bit with the steps going to our room.

Our last night in Door County staying at Square Rigger was the “Cherry on Top”!!

Beautifully located on Lake Michigan with a phenomenal view. property very well maintained! In a quieter area. owners Molly and Katie very accommodating, informative and made us feel thoroughly welcomed.

Location was excellent. Staff very friendly. Facilities room, cleanliness was superb.

There was no kettle in the room to make hot ester/coffee though coffee was available at the office in the morning.

Great Place on the Quiet Side of Lake Michigan

Very nice owners, very accommodating. Super nice back veranda to sit and enjoy the lake view. Room size was adequate and everything a visitor needs was there.

This is the quiet side of the peninsula, so this is not the place for you if you need a lot of entertainment, restaurants etc.

Beds were too small. Bugs on the outside of the door because of the light adjacent to the door.

The accommodations were amazing. Lake Michigan waterfront property with beach! wonderful restaurant, coffee in the lobby and a caring and professional staff!
