Very pleasant

Didnt see any breakfast. Pool was good. Pool man cleaned every day. Liked the balcony. Liked being able to see parking lot where car was park. Quiet floor

Prime beach location, disappointing inn experience. Overpriced, underwhelmed.

The location was beautiful and the outdoor area was one of the nicest looking ones with the most seating in the entire beach strip.

It wasn’t very clean, and we had several problems during our stay. No toilet paper in our room when we arrived, and I of course had to use the bathroom after a 2 hour drive. Luckily I had a friend with me to go to the front desk while I was stuck on the toilet. Sliding glass door to the outdoor balcony did not lock (lock was broken and we were ground level) then we asked for a pole to put in the door so it would essentially lock, they said they would send somebody to our room and they never did. Luckily we found a solution for this problem ourselves. Our front door to our room was extremely warped and didn’t close unless you physically forced it shut, making it very easy for the door to not latch and lock. Room above us flooded their bathroom and it poured down through the ceiling into our bathroom. Called the staff to look at it, they said they would change the ceiling tiles the following day, but they didn’t clean up the mess or even offer us extra towels to do so ourselves. We had to go back to the front desk a second time to ask for help cleaning up the mess which was uncomfortable and awkward. Lastly, I overheard other guests saying they were part of a 60 person family reunion. Nice for the family and all, but I’m not sure why the inn would allow such a large party at a place where your average person is trying to vacation. Both nights of my stay, they let their children run and scream up and down the hallway past my room until well past midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. They also crowded the entire outdoor patio for themselves, while playing loud music, drinking heavily, and scream-talking while very drunk until well past midnight. I understand that the staff cannot necessarily control everyone’s actions, but they never once addressed the noise that this party was making, or how late they were up making said noise.

Uncomfortable stay with lack luster service.

The bed was fine. That was the most positive thing I can say about the property.

Pictures online do not paint an accurate picture. This hotel and beach was crammed with people. Old dirty bathrooms. No house keeping in the room. You throw towels outside of the door when done. The staff was very unfriendly and the whole experience was unpleasant. I'm very disappointed with booking.com and The Pleasant View Inn.

Always love coming here

It’s right off the beach. Can’t beat that!

My bed was a little harder than I’d like, and the door on the ground level didn’t have a lock - only had a block of wood to keep the door secure. But other than that it’s a good place. I still recommend it.

Very much, love its every minute.

Everything was execelente, special thanks to the lifeguard, who made me feel safe when I was on the ocean because I'm handicapped he offer me a device to go in the water safe. Like to have hot water for my tee. Like the beach towels.

It was hard for the stairs. Especially that last step of the stairs going to the beach needs to repair.

41st wedding anniversary. we redid our vows and stayed at Pleasant View for our mini honeymoon. Perfect get away!

Location was wonderful. However Pleasant view needs a major overhaul. Very very dated. Bathroom was extremely small, there was no microwave, no clock/radio and no coffeemaker in the room. Very disappointed. Being right on the beach made it worth the stay. Views were amazing

Very disappointing and ended up leaving a day early.

The location right on the beach was great.

The room was small, carpet was very dirty, other peoples belongings were under the bed, bathroom was tiny and in need of a make over, pool was not heated as advertised and needed skimming, bathroom water went from cold to scalding and the air conditioner was so loud you couldn’t hear the tv.

The location was excellent.

The location was excellent! The access to the beach and a heated pool was ideal for all of us. The drink tickets that were given when we checked in was a nice surprise as was the free coffee. The restaurant food we had for lunch was excellent!

On arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the cleanliness of the floors was subpar especially in the lobby areas and going up the stairs. The carpet on the stairs was dirty with sand and a lot of lint, white strings, and some pieces of napkins. Three days later, the carpet on the stairs was never vacuumed. The carpet in the room was just ok, a considerable amount of stains and again some lint throughout. I was uncomfortable walking barefoot. The group that I was with all talked about what a nice place to stay but for the amount of money spent (about $460 a night), the place should be very clean.

Wonderful break from reality

It was worth every penny. Perfect, clean rooms, restaurant on site, bar on site, beach right outside the door. They even had a basket full of free trashy beach novels to read! Most importantly, the staff truly cares. while I was there I was given extra days off by my boss. The staff at the desk went the extra mile to extend my stay during a holiday week! I will be returning next year!

we had a wonderful stay at PV Inn!

the location was great, right on he beach. the lounge chairs and umbrellas were very convenient. parking was easy and plentiful.

the bathrooms should use a remodel.

Location: being right at the water was the best.

Room size was awful. Advertising such small room "Good for 4" and have tiny beds may not be criminal but certainly is not desirable and should not be marketed as such for someone to have good vacation.

the location is great. also next door to Andrea Restaurant which has lunch and dinner on water.

for the price expected it to be a bit nicer and have breakfast. there is mini fridge in the room so definitely bring breakfast. restaurant was ok.

Disappointing

The proximity to the ocean

Our room was the size of a closet. The bed was uncomfortable. The deck was too small to fit 2 people and the fabric obstructed our view of the ocean. The people right below us were partying all night which kept us up. The room a/c was too loud.

The bathroom fan was extremely loud and burning out Fan made loud noises that made you jump Tub was dirty and wasn’t cleaned well prior to visit Stayed 3 nights and received no fresh linens. No breakfast offered
