-Top notch maids and housekeeping -Ice cold ac -Comfortable beds -Onsite washer and dryer with folding table -24 hour staff at front desk -Stocked drink and food vending -ATM -Jug water dispenser in lobby - At least five network or premium movie channels

- No privacy. You can clearly hear what people are discussing in rooms as you walk the halls and even when their doors and yours are closed. Several times we heard loud arguments. No weather stripping at base of doors that open to hallways. We could smell smoke from other people's rooms. You could see right under the room doors into the rooms themselves due to gap under door -No bathroom vent fan -A man and woman who were fighting got raided by Police during our stay and their door was broken open with a battering ram. -Separate incident - angry man was cussing out someone on his phone in his room and prowling hallway without a shirt on. -Brown roaches coming out of holes in walls on many occasions. You need to carry Raid. -Hot water frequently did not work - never encountered this before at a hotel. I book year-round. -Ice showers due to lack of hot water -Bad stains on mattresses under mattress protectors -Prostitutes like to hang out on exterior corner of building and stop people in stairwell to approach them. We saw at least three white prostitutes during our stay. They were actively seeking clients but it was not always evident. One appeared to be a hospital patient of some kind (band on wrist) - Elevator was broken at least two days. So we had to walk up and down there flights of stairs to unpack the room when leaving. - Gym door permanently bolted shut with equipment inside, no accessible gym facilities -Door hydraulics remained broken in stairwell doors despite telling them in prior review. - Dogs were often peeing in stairwells rather than owners taking them out. This was a daily issue and housekeeping was having to clean it up daily. -Booking rate is $56 a night. Front desk rate is $76 plus a $50 deposit.

Not a vacation getaway.

Convenient, and comfortable enough for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Pet friendly...Good and bad, some pets are loud and not friendly.

I wouldn't book this for a vacation but I needed a place to stay while I waited for home to be ready. I saved money so thats good. The room is very small and feels like a dungeon. The phone didn't work, the toilet tilted and the ice machine is forever broken. Because the rate is so low you get some interesting characters at night. But I felt safe in my room. I just dble locked everything.

This place is extremely low class!

Filthy place. Stank of cigarette smoke including our non-smoking room. We did not stay in this Bowery room. Disgusting! I ant my money returned!

Everything was stinking if cigarettes!

Pleasant and Respectful Staff

Staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was very spacious. They respected the sign i put on my door that I didn't want to be disturbed during the day or knocked on at night.

The hot water took 5 min to warm up and did not get hot 4 out of the 7 nights we were there (just luke warm). Not a lot of surface space to put belongings. Dead bolt on door didnt work.

the mattresses in each of the rooms I have reserved have been horrible and I wish the rooms at at least a microwave

They didn't mention about the $50 deposit.

Is ok. It's just the $50 refundable deposit. I didn't know that after I made the payment. You should mention it before someone pays. You never mentioned the $50 deposit on your page.

Fair and okay.

I liked how old it was. it was pretty quiet for the most part. the location is ideal. the staff was friendly.

The rooms need more decor and more life. More lighting or perhaps another lamp. A sofa chair or something comfortable to sit would be nice other than a desk chair. It felt like I was in a cell with my cell mate there. The mattress was very thin or not enough buffer. Not enough pillows. the room didn’t have an iron. The stairwell smelled a bit foul.

I have stayed here in the past but seems to have degraded a bit.

Had a fridge, room temp control was excellent. The physical location was good for me, but lack of food options close by was disappointing.

The roaches I found on the floor when I turned the light on in the morning was gross. The room and facilities in general were very worn. For example the calking around the tub, the worn off picture display on the elevator door.

Great if you have a pet. Others charge when they dont.

the property was close to restaurants and stores, front dest attendant was nice-great customer service. Free dog stay!!

however the entrance is a bit confusing and rather dumb, and it is right off the busiest part of i10 making traffic in the area horrible. The room had sheets torn and areas in the room were unkept. Took 2 weeks to get my deposit back, when most places have it returned within 2 days. Dont use your debit, use a credit card. no biggie.

Pleasant

I was expecting a better service due to the location of the hotel near to Energy Corridor and important medical centers.

The room and hallway carpet. The room was not cleaned enough. The hotel doesn't have a good maintenance.

Will never come back there.

The property was nothing like the pictures. Instead the walls, phone, around the tub and inside the tub were nasty. Bathroom very tiny and to top it off they have bugs.

staff had a problem with giving extra towels there was no iron or hair dryer and chair in room was all ripped up making me uncomfortable to sit in it
