Celilo Inn

This place has a great view of the area and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio. The breakfast was very good.

Location was okay

Floors were filthy. Shower had no pressure. Definitely need some upgrading Bed needs to be replaced.

The work staff. All awesome. We had a tree blocking our view to the west from the room. Loved that they had coffee all day in the lobby and loved that they have live music on Saturday nights outside on the patio all summer. The duo that was there when we stayed...Through The Fire...was awesome. The salt water pool was also nice.

I think because of the breakfast reviews I was expecting more. It was adequate but not fantastic. But the staff was so kind and friendly, hate to complain about anything.

Older renovated motel. Several basic rooms and if you're lucky, there are a few with a nice view that looks out over the dam. They are pet friendly, however, it's not easy to find any grassy areas to take your pet. They serve a hot breakfast in the mornings. The morning we were there, they had sausage patties, fried eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, along with the usual cereal, toast, fruit, juices and coffee. They also have an outdoor pool and laundry facilities.

They have music on the patio every so often and it just happened to be the night we were there. They serve alcoholic drinks and pizza as well. My husband and I walked over with our own alcoholic beverages and were immediately told to leave because you couldn't bring your own beverage - however there were no signs or anything saying you couldn't, so we had no idea. It wasn't so much that we weren't supposed to bring our own beverages, but the way we were told, almost yelled at, by who we assume is the manager, in front of all the other guests there. Very unprofessional way to handle the situation. Also, the "king" room we reserved was about $40 more than the "queen" room and was way overpriced (in my opinion) for a bit larger bed in a basic room in The Dalles, OR. Won't stay here again.
