The location was perfect. The rocking chairs on the porch right in front of the river was absolutely amazing. The staff was super helpful when our smoke detector kept going off due to a low battery.
The amenities were limited. The drink machine was broken and the pool was closed. There was no hair dryer or an electrical outlet in the bathroom. The inside of the room was definitely older and needs to be redone. There were water stains over the shower where there had obviously been a leak in roof.

It's just an old motel. It needs to be upgraded. We are disabled and they put us up stairs. NO ELEVATOR
2 flights straight up. They say they have a pool but the pool has not been working for years. It was quiet for the most part. There is one ice machine down stairs. So if you want ice you have to climb the stairs again! Just for a place to sleep and it being fairly close to attractions is not bad for the price.
Said there was a pool, no pool. Also, I didn't see where they mentioned there was a 2nd floor, had I known I would definitely not booked an up stairs room. There was one electrical socket by one bed. No plug in at the other bed. No plug in in the bathroom for hairdryer or anything requiring electricity. The bathtub has been painted several times. The paint on it was peeling and looked dirty.

The best part was walking out the backdoor, sitting in a rocking chair watching the river. Very relaxing. Cable was good as well as the bed.
There was only 2 people running the place. A married couple. It seemed like most of the duties fell on the wife, so she was pretty frazzled most of the time. The vending machines did not work. There was no water in the pool. It was 90 or above during our stay. It would have been nice to get in the pool. There was only one very dim overhead light. There should be a lamp on either side of the bed. Our room was full of gnats. Very annoying. We saw 2 roaches. Killed one, the other got away. We saw one spider and killed it. This is our third time staying here and by far the worst. I don't think we will stay at Lloyd's again.

Beautiful location right on the river with mountain views.
Dated facility not kept up well enough to be called charming. Groups of people standing in the parking lot smoking and talking made navigating the narrow drive and area around the office difficult.
