The room we stayed in was in the very front near the road way. That was a huge mistake on our end, the trucks all night long and the noise is horrible from the road way. Also we had to go up 2 flights of steps to get to our room and then there was another flight to get to our bedroom and bathroom. Not the best for anyone with hip or knee problems. Plus we were directly above the breakfast room so you woke up by 6 to the smell of bacon. No sleeping in with that room. The room itself was super clean, the bed was comfortable. But we did not have a sign for the cleaning crew and no one checked if we needed anything the first day, we had to call down to get more towels. We would stay again but would make sure we were in the back away from the road way and in a first floor room. No elevators where we stayed. As far as the staff they were super friendly, I have to say lancaster is one of my most favorite places for a weekend away. My suggestion would be call to make reservations this way you can let them know what you need do not use a third party to rent.

It was lovely since the second we parked. The sight of cows in the back, the amazing walking distance to the village, the cozy retreat of the room and boarding right in the same space as breakfast which was perfectly filling enough with great choices. It was the perfect distance to neighboring towns that we visited and the room I didn’t expect to be a duplex which was so cozy and lovely design with the wallpaper.
The bathroom could use some TLC a towel hook, and more toiletries in our room at least. The air conditioning was a little confusing in the duplex either really cold or warm with the disposition of floors but all adjustable and not anything that was drastic to dislike just improvement
