The chef's breakfast at the time we selected reminded us of how B&Bs used to operate with the ability to meet other guests and share information and experiences over a good meal. Many thanks for that. Additionally, we got to select breakfast time from three choices, so it did not impact our schedule. Within walking distance (12 minutes to our chosen restaurant) of restaurants and downtown. Very helpful in waiting for us to check in late as well.
This is a tough one because we liked the feel of an 1899 hotel but missed having an elevator when carrying luggage up and down the stairs. Not really an issue.

I absolutely adored the old timey Victorian home with the cozy front porch. The views of the black hills while sipping my morning coffee was immaculate.
I didn’t find a thing I disliked.

Beautiful old home convenient to downtown with parking and friendly hosts. Good breakfasts with early coffee available.
Things to know - no elevator and some rooms do not have private baths.
