Magnificent property with original architecture and interiors. Historic building from 1905 but updated for today’s guests. The staff are amazing. Kind courteous and go out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. I could not ask for more. In fact, I’ve never experienced such uniform consistent kindness and help And the bar made some great drinks.

It is a beautiful, historic property that is well- maintained.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room itself was huge , and beautiful, but the mattress felt lumpy and old. I slept terribly. The staff were nice enough, but could be a little warmer. The doorman was vfriendly, but the young man at the front desk was all business. When I asked for a possible late check out, as I live on the west coast and could use the extra hour, he gave me so many reasons why that wasn’t practical that I withdrew the request. Likewise, the bartender wasn’t unfriendly but could have been a little more welcoming; few smiles. The clerk in the morning was very nice.

We picked it for the close proximity to my son’s townhome.

Receptionist upon check in wasn’t welcoming . We had issues with WiFi the first night. The room phone for the front desk wasn’t connected and we had to walk back down to inquire about WiFi connectivity issues. Same receptionist at the front desk was super unhelpful. Another employee from the back came out to the room to look. Wi fi issue wasn’t corrected until morning front desk staff figured out the problem.
