The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable except for an unsealed partition between my room and the adjacent one (see below).
The elevators were not working when I checked in so had to walk through the back area that was still acting as a workshop for just completed renovations. The elevators went out another day also. I was woken up three out of four nights around 3 am by a voice that sounded like it was in my room. After the third time it occurred I found that the partition abutting the wall between room 1820 (my room) and 1822 was not sealed, and when the guest in 1822 would have phone conversations in the middle of the night the sound carried clearly into my room. I complained, and the manager took the destination charge off my room but was unable to get the engineering dept to come to the room and provide at least a temporary fix. I had suggested putting a bead of silicone to close the space and help with the sound proofing. The other thing I felt was missing was a restaurant. The hotel is connected to the Millennium Times Square hotel, but their restaurant was closed so I went for some early morning walks to get breakfast. I just wasn’t interested in the pastries available in the lounge.
