The Bard's Inn is absolutely beautiful, like a Victorian fantasy. My room was lovely. The bed was so comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. The bathroom had an excellent shower and nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was truly exceptional! Our hostess was so gracious and it was fun meeting the other guests around the breakfast table. A perfect location--very convenient and the neighborhood felt completely safe. I really loved staying there and look forward to coming back.

Very convenient to the Shakespeare Theaters, The Bard’s Inn provided beautifully appointed historical decor, but with helpful modern touches such as USB outlets. The Titania Room was spacious, with plenty of storage drawers, an iron, hair dryer, complimentary personal items, and there was a lovely mini fridge that kept my insulin and bottles of water cold. Morning breakfasts were delicious and generous, with multiple options each day.

Location, it is within easy walking distance of SUU campus and the Shakespeare Festival. Comfortable cozy room.
Little mix up with room up keep. Breakfast room while lovely, is a little tight. Parking is also a little tight.

The location of the inn, especially for the Shakespeare festival is a 10 out of five stars! About a four minute walk down a tree lined street. The host is a super lovely woman who is very accommodating. The breakfast is tasty with a plenty of options.
The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. The sheets and towels were laundered using a scented detergent which was pungent. The towels seemed old and were stiff and scratchy—maybe line dried? The room I stayed in was large but painted brown, which made it feel like a cave and the paint was peeling. The rug was old and dirty in spots. The room desperately needs a refresh.
