Not what I’ ve expected from HIE in past.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast always good at HIE.

They didn’t say anything about pool and workout room not available until after I booked and paid for room. Also the are doing major renovations on hotel areas. Also shower had minimal hot water, I told front desk, one side of bed sheets had stains .

Passable

Staff was super friendly! Building could use work even though it’s going thru a reno, I thought the bathroom fixtures were cheap and the shower head and tub spout were floppy. Our friends said the hotel used to be another brand and it showed.

Half hotel is under construction from major water damage. Things seemed unclean in public areas.

Location of breakfast was good, food selection very mediocre.

This place was was in a bit of disarray, rooms lacked some essentials.

Superb

Staff was very friendly and helpful.Carla, the GM was exceptional. The breakfast was very good. Enjoyed our stay. Convenient location off the Interstate. Check-in and check out went smoothly.

Hard time getting into parking lot because of too much snow. But Carla took care of that immediately. Tough to fight Mother Nature.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was plentiful and very convenient

Room itself... Main light going into room not working. Had someone else's stuff in refrigerator, bathroom toilet seat dirty (cleaned myself), inside the toilet needed cleaned as well. Outside room construction wires not taped down by 2nd floor elevators (tripping hazard). 2nd floor maintenance door held open with a buck . Main entrance floor had multiple boxes of supplies setting on the one side of walk way to elevator

we enjoyed our stay in a clean room and the awesome breakfast provided by the very friendly staff.

Cleanliness of room unsatisfactory. Here is the email I sent to their location... I stayed at your Holiday Inn Express located at 204 Raydo Cir, Springfield, OH 45505 on 9/4 with checkout on 9/5 room #211....upon arrival, the comforter had a stain on it which I just tossed to the side since I don't use it anyway, but made me question the cleanliness of the room. However, the shower had tons of black hair (zoom in on the picture, you'll see it) which is not acceptable... downright gross. I did reserve the room from a third party - booking.com and they will also be receiving the same feedback.

Good stay, will use this hotel again

Spacious room, good breakfast, good location.

Bathroom had a very slight musty smell, could have been something as little as a shower curtain not drying out. Had to ask for toilet paper, light was out in the bathroom, and AC display wasn’t showing the controls.

Went with this motel because we needed 3 beds plus a sofa bed.

Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff was wonderful. Beds were comfy

The fire alarms went off at 330 am had to evacuate, returned to room and they go off 2 more times . Impossible to get kids back to sleep after that . Indoor pool was not available due to hotel switching from chlorine to saltwater system and no mention of this when I booked the stay . Very disappointed bc kids couldn't swim

I just don’t know

I booked 2 rooms. when I checked into my room, it had not been cleaned. ( 230 ) . I come down to the desk and told them. and they seemed so unconcerned. I asked about the IHG clean promise , and was told I would have to get up at 7:00 am to see the owner. they moved me to the 1st floor where I was awakened early in the morning by a weed eater at the window. the next morning I was awakened by an alarm clock going off in the next room from 4:00 am . no rest

Breakfast was great, room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, felt at home.

Television wouldn't work - think it was the remote batteries. I didn't report it due to not being in room enough to use the TV anyway. Received the wrong room receipt on departure, didn't notice until arriving home. Minor issues to me this visit.

Overall, good breakfast, clean rooms with fresh towels and sheets.

I loved the front desk personnel. They were very welcoming and always open to conversation about your stay and what you were in town for. Very friendly!

The juice machine happened to break while I was there, but those things happen. They made up for it by having juice bottles available!

The comfort it provided like the clean comfortable bed.

We booked a room over the phone we were told 155.00 as I started that I was a veteran., but was charged 183.00. We had called this Holiday Inn and talked to a Jeff a manger there but haven’t got a response yet. Although I liked my stay here I’m not pleased to be charged more then what I was told.
