Good anniversary quick trip

Location was very optimal for my husband and I. Close to places that we were interested in going.

I didn't realize that the King room would not have a microwave. We've been satisfied with our Hampton Inn stays. Wondering if it would be better to go directly through Hampton.

Passable

Breakfast was especially good for a hotel breakfast. The staff worked hard to keep things warm and ready. Check in staff was friendly and helpful as well.

Beds were uncomfortable (especially the pillows) and the room was EXTREMELY noisy. Some weird thumping noise all night long.

Clean but not worth what they’re charging.

Convenient, looked clean.

Barking dog next to us all night, check-in guy double charged our credit card and was making comments about on of our party’s breath. Bed was quite hard.

Good

Very convenient for late night or early morning flights.

Strangely hard to access on foot (because of fences), even though it is right across from the airport terminal. Staff when I got there was very gruff. Morning staff seemed more friendly.

First time this has ever happened to me checking into a hotel- the front desk guy didn’t ask for ID when checking in. He asked only my name and gave me key cards. He barely spoke and when he did he was mumbling so low you couldn’t hear him. The man in front of me checking in asked if there was an on ramp to the freeway (which the hotel is right off of) and the desk guy said (mumbling & low) “I have no idea”. What?!?! The man asking was from out of state so I could understand why he was asking this. I helped him out by telling him that yes there is and where it was located. He also was not asked for ID or anything, just given room keys and sent on his way. I swear the desk guy was stoned or something. Alot of the other hotel guests were loud, obnoxious and inconsiderate- screaming (I mean screaming VERY loudly) up and down the halls all night long. I know that is not the fault of the hotel but I know people called the desk about it and nothing was done by the staff.

Not up to the Hampton standard. Staff not friendly. Not kept as clean as other Hamptons.

Recommend for family staying!!

Close to airport, rental, restaurants, and crew were kind. I liked the whole mood of hotel as well. Services are good in general.

Internet speed was so slow or wifi connection was kinda unstable. But it’s okay since anywhere else were equally slow lol. Power outlet was loose so we had difficulty at charging our phones and devices, so we had to buy extension.

Superb

Overall very clean comfortable room and nice breakfast.

I brought my keys down to check out and the lady at the desk did not even look up at me but continued to write on whatever she was doing. My boyfriend had time to go make a cup of coffee and return standing behind me while I waited. All I wanted to do was hand her the keys for the room. Working in the public myself I know we are expected to at least acknowledge the person and tell them “I will be with you in just a moment”. She finally looked up and spoke when another staff member had walked up seeing us standing there.

Your hotel is gross and your staff is terrible.

The location was close to where I needed to be the following morning.

Rude staff, dirty lobby, dirty elevator, dirty room, sad breakfast, dirty breakfast area. When I arrived no one was working in the lobby and we stood there for quite awhile before a really strange worker showed up. Room above us had people that literally jumped and stomped back and forth all night. Called at 10pm and was told it would be handled. It wasn’t, gave my headphones to my child so he could sleep. Called at 1:30am and was told she would go up there. I called quietly to not wake up my child. SHE CALLED ME BACK at 2am and woke my child up to tell me that the woman above me said she wasn’t being loud and her husband was just waiting for his surprise and that I should drop my complaint. WHAT?! So my child that had to be at wrestling regionals at 7am had little to no sleep. I feel like I should have just slept in my car and burned $150, I probably would have been better rested.

Its a hampton inn, thats it

Tub was dirty, staff wasnt helpful and told me they couldnt help me when i wanted a digital key..called numerous times and phone just rang ..let other guests party loud in the dining area until 10 p.m...could hear music up in my room.. room right next to elevator so was woken up by rude guests..middle of nowhere .used pool but its so small u cant help but be close to other people considering covid and all..i wont stay here again.

Superb

It was clean

We booked the room through Booking.com. I received a confirmation email after booking through that website. In the email I was told that masks were mandatory in all public areas and that there may not be food service. I was quite upset since we had traveled to Florida and back earlier in the spring and had had no issues with wearing masks in any state that we stayed in. When I called the hotel direct and ask if this was still the case in Michigan I was told it was not. The website needs to update their masks regulations. I would have cancelled our reservations if masks had been required.
