The last half dozen or so times we have come to Carmel we have stayed at the Cypress Inn. Great location in the heart of Carmel. Walk everywhere. We always bring our poodle and they are super dog friendly. I like the character and history of the hotel.
Everything was excellent. I would say the bathroom this stay could have used a little more shelving around the sink area but understand there is only so much that can be done.

The best place to stay if you have a dog!
Limited available parking. The staff recommended that we park beyond the hotel about 2 blocks in the residential area for available parking. The weather was nice so this was not a problem.

The location was fantastic.
The room was so loud! You could hear the elevator, dogs barking, and people talking inside the room. It was difficult to sleep.
