There is a wonderfully zen feeling around the property. The units are spaced widely w/o internal hallways. The shared spaces are older with a lot of history. Not flashy, lots of charm. Staff are fantastic. We love the space. Both restaurants are good and the bar very cozy. Beds are comfortable, rooms and bathrooms exceptionally big and well appointed.
We love all the sculptures throughout the property.
We stayed in the grand casita. We had some minor issues with the small appliances not working, but they were resolved quickly. Dishes hadn’t been checked, so only 1 small plate was available. Maids need to check this between guests.

The grounds are nice and the rooms feel deluxe.
The rug and floor were really sticky. The pools could have been cleaner. My dog didnt make $100 worth of mess.

The scenery
Thin floors ! Heard every step from above. Staff left my door unlocked on returning back to my room. Also at the restaurant my daughter has an allergy to avocado and we asked to keep out of the dish. It was literally in the dressing. We approached the waitress on the issue and she lied to our faces. Unacceptable! Didn’t get the plus one experience!
