Enjoyed our visit because we were with friends

Beautiful building and landscaping! Excellent staff. Clean room. Had fun eating dinner outside on patio. Good options for breakfast.

Would never recommend staying in a “ queen room”- it is quite small and the bathroom was teeny tiny with NO space to put out our toiletries. We ended up putting things on the floor. The bathrooms desperately need shelves, more than one hook, and a non pedestal sink. In general the food was good but don’t bother adding shrimp to a meal. For $12 I received 3 medium size shrimp! $3-4 “per bite”

The perfect place to stay in the Granville area!

This property is so warm and inviting from the moment you pull up. Everyone is so friendly and the rooms are beautifully decorated.

I can’t think of a single thing not to like about the Granville Inn!

Nice Old Inn within walking distance of everything Granville has to offer.

The breakfast was excellent and complimentary with the room. Very nice! The room was clean and comfortable. The most important thing, for me, was it was within a short walk of where I was going. The Granville Inn is a wonderful old building and very convenient to shops & restaurants.

I can't see what could have been better, except the weather.

Beautiful setting, but disappointing.

The history. The beautiful architecture. The lovely setting.

Our room was small. Heater was loud. Air filter was filthy—needed to be replaced. Receptionist in the morning was unfriendly. Breakfast was just OK. I have

would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. designated parking for those staying at the Inn as opposed to those just coming to eat. put on the breakfast menu that the Granville Special is the O NLY one that is included in the room. it’s very confusing.

A beautiful hotel with everything I needed, including food, drinks and coffee.

The location is very nice, right near the center of the little town of Granville. It's very quiet, beautiful, and picturesque there, and you can walk the entire downtown from the hotel. The hotel is a charming old building with a great bar and in/outside restaurant. Each floor has an area with Keurig coffee makers ready to go.

I could hear the neighbors' conversations pretty clearly.

Perfect place for a weekend in Granville

Beautiful historic but updated inn. Close to just about everything in Granville. Handsome bar. Food at restaurant was delicious.

Service at restaurant was spotty. Most likely due to understaffing. However waitress Amy did an excellent job picking up the slack.

Exceptional

Great check in. Clean room. Pleased with wifi. The breakfast was exceptional. No troubles. Everything was great. Better than expected. Comfy bed super shower.

Very clean property close to everything in Granville

Cozy room and VERY clean! Bathroom nice and also very clean. Great location right downtown, walkable to restaurants.

Check in staff told me nothing about the property. Apparently the restaurant serves breakfast, but was never told. They have a keurig in the hallway on each floor, unfortunately my Keurig tea tasted like coffee-- yuck! Would be nice if they had a water bottle fill up station. Bed was not very comfortable, I did not sleep well. Windows are painted shut, which is unfortunate bc the room was hot---needed some fresh air!

I feel safe as a single female traveler.

I like everything. The restaurant is currently closed due to Covid.

it’s always spotless but when I checked under the furniture prior to departure I found some vitamins from a previous guests.I have never seen this before and I’m willing to chalk it up to a one time oversight since everything else was spotless.

Excellent! Exceeded our expectations.

Welcoming guest services women greeted us and acknowledged our 50th anniversary. We had a lovely room that was so convenient we could use the beautiful staircase to and from the lobby. We enjoyed the Keurig station, the bar area, the tasteful Christmas decorations. The food preparation was outstanding. Kudos to the chef! Wendy, our server could not have been more gracious as she served us at our fireside table. Sunday morning gave us opportunity to enjoy a lovely continental breakfast. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. I would not wanted to spend our 50th wedding anniversary anywhere else. It was just perfect. Thank you, staff of the Granville Inn, for making it so.

This is an ideal location and memorable place to stay for a visit to Denison.

The property is on the National Register of Historic Places and it is gorgeous!

The floors were pretty creaky - as expected in a historic property.

fabulous Stay

great bed. Bar and restaurant staff are charming.

we ordered the very large sushi plate. The plating is not good. you have no idea what is what. It was piled on an undersized plate. you could not tell the sashimi from the nigiri because it was so jammed together

Clean attractive room.

Dripping outside our window from drain even though it wasn’t raining. Need at least a bottle of water in the morning. Air conditioning unit extremely loud. Reception desk not welcoming located off to the side.

Amazing

The property was unlike an property I have ever stayed. It’s a very unique hotel. Definitely great for a romantic and unforgettable time.

Will stay there again

All rooms have been updated and are small but very nice. The Inn has a lot of history and is perfectly located in the center of town. The beds are very comfortable.

The Inn does not serve breakfast and the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday
