Good place to stay!

Charming but Challenging

If you're outdoorsy & arrive in a car, the property and the room are charming (I was in #2). The room was clean and rustic, & the bed was comfortable. Great view of the grassy/woodsy garden & creek area from the deck accessed through your sliding glass door. Apparently, there's a hot springs somewhere on the property as well (I couldn't access it). There are a couple chairs on your deck to sit on.

The driveway and parking areas of the property are not paved. They're covered in river rock. If you plan to arrive on a bike, just --> don't. You'll dump your bike as soon as you hit the driveway. I came in on a trike, and nearly got stuck just riding around the property to find the office [I'll admit to being a little worried about riding out of it] Check in is very casual, and if you reserved through a booking agency like I did, be sure to contact the property beforehand and ask which room you are assigned, since apparently there's no check in desk/person to greet you on arrival. You are supposed to know what room you're in already, park in front of it, and go in. I got no such instruction from my booking agency. The floor in my room had no carpeting or other textiles, and it was d*** slippery. I'm handicapped, so naturally I fell. Which brings me to the bed... it might be comfortable, but be aware that it is on wheels, and it moves, so be careful.!!! The bathroom was pretty tiny, the shower stall was equally tiny, and if you're not tall, you won't be able to reach the shower head to adjust it.

7 day road trip, 6 hotels and this was far the best! Stayed in the cabin #7 closest to the creek. The area is beautiful. The bed and pillows were perfect. had a large smart TV and full kitchen. The grounds put you a piece. Great place to relax after a long drive. Easy to find as its on the main by-pass road next close to I-84. Several restaurants in town, down the street some. Oh, and the owners (family operation) provide river rafting tours (may leave at 10am, return at 2pm).
