Love the ambiance and the location

How historic the property is wish I could look at the tunnels and the Staff are gracious and kind
Those spirits paid us a visit at night and had to pray to God to rebuke them so we could get some sleep I mean trying to touch my coins and letting them drop cmon that’s rude at least pick em up geez

The location, the beautiful trees, and the lovely courtyard. Close to convention center.
My room was so run down. The baseboards are so dirty, the walls were beat up and needed painting, the TV wouldn't go off without unplugging it, the air vent in my shower was hanging down 2 inches and I could see into the "1862 building infrastructure," my shower curtain was moldy, the ice machine hasn't worked for 10 years at least, the bedskirts look to be straight from 1985, and the beat up closet had 2 hangers. Moreover, upon arrival, there was a random woman asleep on the couch in the lobby. I had to ring the bell to get an attendant to the desk...and when I asked the attendant why there was a woman asleep in the lobby....she "had no idea who it was." It did not sit well with me - honestly freaked me out a bit.
