Pool/area and lovely room.
Loved the hotel however the cleanliness of our room was non existent. The bed was occasionally made and we got clean towels every day but that was it! Sinks left/bath left/shower left/floor and balcony not cleaned, dirty cups left. It’s such a shame as this was the only let down but a major part of the stay. I asked to speak to the manager about it and said they would tell her but she never contacted me. If this was my hotel I would want to know what’s going on!

Upon initial arrival the hotel
Looks lovely our room was very nice clean and comfy….
But that is where the 5 star rating finished. The facilities are non existent with a below average restaurant called The Fish House which we found out did not belong to the hotel and was independent. On our first evening we were lucky to get a table as initially was told they were full due to
2 separate functions from outside hotel guests.
The food we had there was acceptable although certainly did not match the ascetics, we felt completely mislead by the description of the hotel.
There was 2 other bars one called The Bridge Bar which on 3 separate occasions we tried to get a drink it was closed. The Tusk bar which serves food can only be described as extremely grubby it smelt on entrance the tables were all dirty and was also not part of our hotel.
Next door it also had a small man made beach with no chairs or beds available to sit/lay on and the water was actually an estuary (not sea) and was heavily polluted and certainly not somewhere you should swim in …. We observed huge tankers drifting past just a few hundred metres from the shore.

Bins throughout the outside of the hotel were also disgusting with them not appearing to have been cleaned in a long while.
There was actually not ONE facility within The Beach Club Hotel accept for a help
Yourself coffee machine just at the reception area.
No bar inside the hotel, no breakfast available, no dinner available it came as an absolute surprise to us and completely ruined our stay.
There was no staff around one person on reception whom when we expressed our concerns looked at us like we were mad!!
