We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the hostal. Lina and Oscar were very friendly and accommodating, even upgraded us after some booking mix up. From the patio and balcony you can see the Rio Arenal and go for a swim in the emerald pools.
There are a few things that would make staying at Vista Hermosa even better, i.e bedside tables with lights, mosquito netting and security bars on the windows, a coffee maker, and towels to dry the dishes in the kitchen.

De entrada fue una buena experiencia pero la falta de personal en el hotel de noche afecto nuestra perspectiva, ya que una pareja discutió toda la madrugada a gritos, creo que por eso es necesario personal del lugar, porque puede pasar a mayor este tipo de cosas, tuvimos que dormir con todo cerrado y el ventilador prendido para disminuir el volumen de los gritos... Esto es triste porque lo ideal de quedarnos en un lugar al lado del rio es disfrutar de los sonidos del rio y la naturaleza, al dormir con todo cerrado la habitación cogió un olor muy feo. Además la señora del restaurante nos quería cobrar de más en el desayuno y solo nos cuidaban las maletas si consumíamos el almuerzo allí, ya que no hay nadie en el hotel cómo habitualmente pasa.
