Everything was nice. The breakfast was great. Plenty to eat especially bacon which a lot of hotels do not serve much anymore.

The location is near the parkway but away enough it's not a super busy area. The breakfast was good. Staff was nice and saw them handle an issue with a rude guest appropriately and professionally.
Pool area was closed completely 3 of the 5 days we were there with no real explanation as to why as it didn't even storm 2 of those days. Then closed again due to an actual storm on our last day. Kids were extremely disappointed as that is the reason we always stay here. My daughter was beyond excited for it and only got about 3 hours worth total the whole week. Kinda ridiculous as we didn't get the value out of it whatsoever. Pretty sure that pool area has a mold problem though on the walls where the windows are and around the pool. Shower ceiling had paper I'm assuming peeling off of it. Black spots on the shower curtain. Hole in the wall where someone must've slammed the bathroom door open. You can hear everything in the hallway while in your room. Beds weren't very comfortable. Years ago this place was fantastic...it is just going downhill. Needs to repairs and replacements for sure. I don't think we'll be back again.
