I checked into Sleep Inn around 3:30–4:00 PM. After entering the room, I noticed several issues. The TV remote was broken at the top and held together with tape, the hair dryer was not working, and the coffee maker was missing an internal part, making it unusable.
I immediately reported all three issues to the front desk. The staff acknowledged my concerns and noted them down, but no immediate action was taken to resolve any of the issues.
The following morning, when I went downstairs for breakfast, I noticed that there were no hot breakfast options available, such as eggs or sausages. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told, “It’s a no-protein breakfast. We are working on it.” The staff also mentioned that they had already received complaints from other guests regarding the breakfast.
After breakfast, I spoke with a female staff member at the front desk about the room issues. She was very nice, professional, and helpful. She listened to my concerns, offered to change my room, and eventually arranged a room change for me. I truly appreciated her willingness to help and the way she handled the situation.
I am sharing my experience to highlight the maintenance and breakfast issues while also acknowledging the excellent customer service provided by the staff member who helped me with the room change.

The location was amazing!
The beds were not comfortable. The shower door swivels, so it was hard to not flood the bathroom as there is no seal to stop.

Close to competition at Carowinds.
The bathroom shower had spots in it where it looked like it had been patched up and it was nasty. Not clean.
