Very pleased!!!

The location the balcony the river is beautiful felt safe the beds very comfortable and the room very clean will definitely stay again.

The coffee in lobby needs a better set up and more desirable coffee.

Good place for a one night stay

Room was clean and nice comfy bed although the mattress was a little soft. Had doors that open with a nice view of the river. Good location for exploring Cherokee.

We booked the “suite with a river view” which boasted its own private entrance and a balcony. It has neither. It’s entrance is simply the last door on the ground floor and is the same as every other room. It also appears to be the only room without a balcony. It had double doors which open onto the river and have a railing in front of them but does not have a separate balcony to sit on like the other rooms. We also couldn’t get the second door to open.

Wonderful family getaway

I don’t typically choose to stay at a motel but based on reviews we decided to give it a try. Trip Advisor didn’t steer us wrong. The hotel is very clean and comfortable! Even the beds were fantastic compared, very comfortable! The balcony’s are so relaxing and peaceful! We enjoyed coffee in the morning on our back porch rocking chairs and enjoyed the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating as well! It is located in a great spot and within walking distance to several restaurants and activities. We have already booked a return trip in the coming months!

accommodated an unexpected, late arrival. pretty views of the river. clean

the beds were a little small for the two of us and the pillows were a bit flat. would try to get into a king room next time.

Relaxing

Patty in the office was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. We will definitely be back because of her. The view was amazing looking out over the river. Paul's Family Restaurant was basically across the street and their food is amazing and I didn't have to drive there, it was walking distance

We enjoyed our stay. The balcony had 2 rocking chairs overlooking the river where we watched the mallard ducks. We enjoyed chatting with the manager while getting coffee in the morning, and the made to order donuts from the little restaurant next door. Quiet and safe.

Beautiful and Charming. Loved my stay.

I absolutely loved my stay. The Smokey Mountains were just a quick drive away and there’s to many beautiful things to see. My room was very clean and comfortable. I also loved that the river was literally outside my balcony. Staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I have to be very careful with parking. Parking area is very small and right against the main road. I did hear a couple of cars speeding when I was sleeping but it didn’t bother me. It might be a problem for sensitive sleepers.

great views but “balcony room” doesn’t exactly meant a real balcony. Great location, natural beauty and great scenery. Just less than expected. We will def be back so hopefully next time we will have a better experience.

Wonderful place to stay!

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed having the river right outside of the room. The room was quiet even though it's right on the street. The room was small but very appropriate for a one night visit for two people.

As a slightly older person with some health issues the stairs were a little hard to deal with. I booked my room online so I didn't know until I got there what floor I was on.
