Thought it was a very nice lodge.Location was excellent,
A couple of sofa chairs would be nice instead of having to sit on bed.

Room was big, beds and linen were clean. excellent quality shampoo and conditioner.
Room and decor was very dated, gloomy. old carpet. no exhaust in bathroom. no water filling station.

There are few choices on this side of Mt Rainier National Park. Be prepared to book well in advance to have better choices. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
It was apparent that some updating had been done, but not in a professional manner. The A/C was quite loud and had to be turned off during the night. The furnishings were definitely eclectic (a collection of mismatched articles). Two of the three light bulbs in the bathroom were burned out so it was quite dreary. The refrigerator was missing a couple of shelves and the door to the freezer compartment, but luckily still worked. Definitely overpriced for what it was. Overall, an okay stay for one night in a clean room. Beggars can't be choosers.
