The actual house in the photo is the termite riddled blue house over on the side of the corner. This electricity through the whole house flicker when you use the microwave or any appliance the cleaning us of this dwelling with subpar the location of the beach is more than a 3-minute walk I would not recommend this dwelling

Location, Value of the stay in the property,

The condition of the floors in the bungalow is a bit deteriorating. It needs repair. We booked the Banana Cabana and the bungalow. Info about the washer and drier is not clear in the description. There is one in the Banana Cabana`s garage. Not clear if you can use them if you rent the bungalow only.

Definitely would come back for a trip, however wish it will be a little more clean.

It was super close to the beach and restaurants were close by too

The bed was super uncomfortable. Wish there was more direction with where everything was (laundry, pool, etc.)

A quaint bungalow experience in the midst of tremendous growth area.

The location is good, easy to get everywhere on foot, by bike or trolley. Sweet little cottage, last of the vintage cottages!

I think it could have been cleaner and more refreshed with paint and a cleaner sofa. The beach towels were also well used. I was glad when Laura came and cleaned up the yard. It looked so much better. ! Great lady! I moved all the furniture and rugs to sweep and wipe down the floors as well as shelved areas. Ahhhhhh....ready to move in.

Horrible

Nothing.

We had no parking spot in car port, the place was dirty, black mold in all vents, duct tape holding flooring down, deck rotted out. Found food on counter, garbage outside door, 6 small towels for four adults, beds were old and uncomfortable, can't turn a/c down past 70, all furniture inside and out were old and uncomfortable. Woke up with rash across my chest and down right arm. Pictures online do not match at all.

Was a great location. Village was a 10 minute walk, beach also. We had a great time.

location was great! Plenty of beach chairs, towels, cooler and a cart if needed.

Bungalow

Loved the area and the bungalow was absolutely perfect!!!

Cleanliness. Mouse droppings in kitchen drawers, baking pan was left in oven dirty. No cleaning products to clean toilet after use. Couch dirty.

The cottage is very cute, but old windows made our stay less comfortable

The location was great, we walked to the beach and Siesta Key village easily. There is also a nearby trolley stop which you can ride to further destinations on the island for free. Management was quick to respond to an internet outage and provided us a hotspot while they were resolving the issue. The kitchen was stocked with basics for cooking and we didn’t need to buy soap, paper towels or toilet paper.

The windows in the bedroom are jalousie style (louvres), so they let in plenty of heat, humidity, smell and noise. We visited in summer during red tide, and happened to have noisy neighbors, so the windows were the biggest downside.

Passable

The air conditioning unit stops working between 1-3 am. It gets very hot and does not turn on. There’s a sign posted that the air will turn off if you lower it below 70 but we had it a 73 and it kept turning of by itself between 1-3 am. Really inconvenient for the customers. If the owner knows the issue with the air he should get it fixed instead of putting a sign saying it malfunctions

Great location but very unhappy with the dishonesty of the booking.

Location was great only a 5 min walk to the beach. Beach chairs and towels provided.

My husband and I booked this rental through booking.com and all our emails prior to our late arrival confirmation had the address and house # as 549 Beach Rd. Our late arrival confirmation comes through as 543 Beach Rd and we arrived to a small cottage that was not pictured in detail on the booking.com site. Upon talking with management all we got was a “I’m sorry”, no refund offered or anything. And after our vacation we read reviews online and it seems this was no mistake as it has happened before. The 549 rental has been rented by a family living there for over a year that we spoke with. This cottage could use lots of updates..very small shower that leaked, bathroom has no fan or AC, floor in bedroom and floor of shower both felt like they could break down in certain spots, cockroaches were found in extra bedroom, main bedroom bed was very unsturdy, flat and uncomfortable, and extremely squeaky. A great location but very very unhappy with what we ended up with as a 15 year anniversary mini getaway for me and my husband.

Awful!!!

location was great

Everything! They switch places on us as we was driving down there. Lied and said there was a problem with the original place. What they did was rent our place to someone else! ALSO they would not return calls when we complained about it!!
