The location is great and the room is modern and clean, although it’s small.
I had trouble getting the door lock to work and ultimately had to use a key from the safe. Also, it was a bit noisy at 11 pm.

Quirky, large room with small living room, balcony overlooking canal. Nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants, near harbor.
Not on subway line but buses were easy and close.

The location couldn’t be better! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and setting up an early check in was easy. The AC in the room worked great.
I stayed in one of the basement rooms (#3) and upon entering I could smell how damp it was, it smelled like mold but I did not see any. My belongings and the bedding ended up feeling damp after a day as well. I’m sure being a basement unit and being located next to the canal is the reason, I would imagine the upper level rooms are fine! The common spaces did not have the same smell as the room as stayed in.
The TV did not have access to a majority of the channels listed on the tv guide provided in the room.
The bathroom had no counter space.
