The view was to die for & the couches and beds were extremely comfortable. As a 90s baby this home brought me back in time. Loved every second

Our home was situated in a small enclave overlooking a frozen lake about 2 miles from the ski resort. Even though it was a little chalet, it was very roomy and comfortable for my husband and our kids to spread out and relax. The host was super communicative by text. Answered all of our questions.. It snowed 6 inches overnight, they even snow plowed before we could even ask.

Ludlow's Gem was exactly what I was looking for, clean, quiet and comfortable. It was close to town and Okemo Ski Resort. In additon, the wood stove was so nice to have.
I booked through Booking.com and there was no information on road conditions or parking in their listing. When I received the confirmation from Vacasa, it stated that the road could get muddy in the rainy season and a 4 wheel drive would be helpful. Since I was there during a snow storm, I messaged Vacasa customer support to gather more information on the access road and snow plowing. The agent took an INCREDIBLY long time in getting back to me and ended up just passing along the number for the local plow service. When I tried to get more information, like will the driveway be plowed when I arrive, whether I have to call to arrange for plowing myself (and if I am responsible for the charge), the agent was "checking" but NEVER followed up with me. Since I have a Subaru and am very comfortable driving in the snow, I just went to the house. There was a parking area and it was plowed, so it wasn't an issue. I did have to call the plow service the next day as it snowed about 12". In addition to being very friendly, the person was on his way and plowed the space out. More information would certainly have been helpful and I was quite astonished that the customer service was that terrible.
