The location
The ceiling fan in one of the was broke. The pull out catch also had a broken piece of wood.

The apartment was nice
Parking was too close to each other. Car hit by other cars doors. Couldn’t get in or out easily

The location was great. Close to so many things.
We had a problem with the garbage deposit in one of our units... and a wasp nest at the other. One of the units carpet was horrible.
My family had a great time and I am grateful that the resort could accommodate our request to have them next door. It took a couple of calls to get it done because someone failed to put in my request when I initially asked and was assured it was done.
This was a great choice for my family.
They should add more outdoor furniture for the patio that isn't damaged. Also, the kitchen needs more cooking utensils, mixing bowls, ect.

The location of this condo really is fantastic. It's about a 15 minute trip to Cocoa Beach and a variety of restaurants and shops. It's about 10-15 minutes up to Kennedy Space Center, and an easy drive that direction with very little traffic. When we stayed at this condo in June, we were even able to watch a rocket launch from our balcony which was super fun! The view of the inter-coastal waterway and draw bridge is really nice, very peaceful, even with the traffic on the road. From our balcony, we saw a lot of dolphins and some manatees swimming right in front of the condo. We particularly like this location because of the convenience to 528 and to the headquarters for Teen Missions International, plus it offers enough room for our family to spread out. Another bonus was being able to rent a pontoon boat at a discount (as a guest) from their marina. $280 for half a day was a fair price for a fun way to spend the afternoon with our family, and super convenient as it's just steps away from the condo (we actually rented it because we kept looking at them from the balcony of our room).
Our first stay at Cape Crossing Resort and Marina was in June 2025, and we were so impressed by the cleanliness of everything and how new everything felt, especially for the price. We stayed there again in one of their townhouses in August 2025 and noticed a few little things (like broken blinds), but it was still super convenient and nice for the family. When it came time to head back this summer, we didn't hesitate to book again. I noticed a slight increase in the cost (like everything else in 2026), but for the location, I felt it was worth it. However, our experience in June 2026 and August 2026 were both less impressive than the first time we stayed. The floorboards were dirty and there was some mildew in the bathroom. The grout by the shower was coming away from the tiles, the toilet was loose, the fan on the balcony didn't work and was totally rusted, and the balcony furniture was mildewed, ripped, and the table was burned with cigarettes. It was disappointing, to say the least. On this last trip in August, when it rained it actually ran in under the front door (even though that was on the covered side of the building) and flooded the entrance hallway of our condo, requiring us to use our bathroom towels to mop it up and keep it from going further. The building is only 10 years old, but the care of it seems to have declined in the last year.
