Our host greeted us warmly and made us feel very much at home. The 1800-something old house had so much character, beautiful furnishings, and was very clean. We stayed in the "Primrose" room and slept very well in the comfy bed, and I enjoyed a good soak in the large slipper tub. We particularly enjoyed the front porch (we ordered a pizza at a restaurant within walking distance), the lovely gardens, and the magical fireflies! Our breakfasts were amazing! It was a good location near to the downtown area, but far enough to be very quiet. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would absolutely return the Susquehanna Manor Inn! Thank you for your fantastic hospitality!
I was a little disappointed that, for it's age and interesting history, the Manor didn't seem to be haunted at all. I would have loved to have seen a ghost, but I was satisfied with just the magical fireflies.

It's an amazing place, everything is very beautiful, nice garden around, swings by a lake, etc. Hostess is top notch, friendly, has no weird house rules. I liked pets on premises as well.
I forgot to figure out how to control temperature in room - there was no thermostat in there. It was not apparent that very cold air blows right to beds because temp was good outside of rooms and it was too late to figure this out at night. We end up freezing during night :-(
