I found it really interesting.

Its location location location such a unique and interesting place. An Historic one horse town with a great quaint Museum, Crowbar Cafe and Saloon.

Nothing really. Its not the Ritz but so well worth staying and investigating prior to a Death Valley visit or after

Lag gut auf dem Weg. Sonst würde ich was anderes wählen.

Es gibt großen Gemeinschaftsraum in der Wohnung. Für Gruppe oder Familie sehr gut geeignet. Die Koch Utensilien sind eher überschaubar vorhanden. Die Überraschung war das kostenfreie Frühstück. Bagels Jogurt und Filter Kaffee aus der Kanne. Wir hatten nichts erwartet.

Der Empfang war sehr unfreundlich, unser Fragen wurden übergangen. Schon im Vorfeld meine meiner Buchung hat es lange gedauert bist eine Antwort gekommen ist. Sie Groß Veranda war so staubig das man sich nirgends hinsetzen konnte ohne vorher ausgiebig sauber zu machen. In dem Geschirrspüler stand noch dreckiges Geschirr vom Vermieter.

Hidden gem in shoshone

Hands down, this is a hidden gem. I loved everything about it. Everything was close by. The natural warm spring pool was amazing. The owner was kind and had great hospitality. Clean and comfortable room, amazing comfortable bed. Great location.

We had room 28, and we were by the sewage part of the motel where a lot of black flies were but hardly noticeable. Didn't bother much, which is understandable why they were there. The room was very sealed off to keep them out. Other than that, I'm definitely coming again for a whole weekend, loved this place.

Comfortable place to stop on our road trip

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lots of parking, shop next door very well stocked. Breakfast was self service, bagels, fruit and yoghurts. Very remote location, saw coyotes right outside

Restaurant opposite was closed so we had to drive 15min to get to somewhere for dinner, but “the Steak and Beer” restaurant we found was fabulous…very unique!

Only a one night stay, but works well with plans to see the sights

Location brilliant for Death Valley,beds comfortable, room very clean and the aircon !

Nothing,diner opposite was closed for refurbishment, but a deli was set up in the store, which was good

Great overnight stay - king room was above expectations

We stayed here after a long day exploring Death Valley, and it exceeded our expectations! The desk clerk kindly upgraded our room for free and we exclaimed "WOW" as we walked in - it was actually the nicest room on our whole 2-week vacation. It was roomy, up to date, had everything we needed and more. We really appreciated the little kitchenette. We did not use the pool but the desk clerk had taken the time to explain everything in case we did use it. We also appreciated the fresh fruit in the office fridge - we took a couple apples for the road. We ate at the Crowbar Cafe which is right across the road but I believe it is closed now for summer renos.

this must be the best place to stay in Shoshone or nearby.

it is a diamond in a dusty spot. It’s marvelously appointed. it has a pool. the staff is very thoughtful and helpful. it’s right across the street from a unassuming restaurant with good well priced food. it’s well laid out. parking is free and easy. I was just looking for a place to stay along my motorcycle trip. I was not expecting such a great hotel!

Shoshone is a great location for those who like small desert towns.

Although it looks like a modest old-fashioned motel from the outside, my room was modernized and very comfortable. Really enjoyed hiking from my door to the Amargosa river and to the warm spring to see the Shoshone pupfish. Also enjoyed swimming in the pool fed by the warm spring.

Walls are thin. I could hear a person next door snoring.

Beautiful motel with great staff in interesting little town

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms looked recently remodeled and had some nice touches, like the special toiletry amenities. Everything looked very clean. The free breakfast was nice with bagels, yogurt and fruit. We would've liked to try the hot spring pool but were too tired after our late arrival.

Only thing that could be improved is the full bed in the "budget" room could be replaced with a queen-size. The full bed is really too small for 2 people.

Too expensive for what you get. But it is the only game in town for a long ways in any direction hence they get away with it.

Regarding the options around Death Valley overall a good choice

It’s close to Death Valley, you can drive from the south over Jubilee Pass. Takes around 1 hour to Badwater. Surprisingly there was breakfast (bagels, cream cheese, butter and jam - totally fine for us). The best part was the warm spring pool. It’s so long you really can swim and nice warm although it’s not too warm outside.

Room was with king bed and sofa bed (small one), but only possible to book with 3 people. The room with 2 full bed would have been possible for 4 (but the kids would never sleep together in a full bed).

The property is a good setting, clean, and well-maintained. I would definitely stay in this property again.

There is no cellular service, and the satellite TV only worked on a couple channels, whereas the other channels kept cutting out. The walls are fairly thin as I can hear people talking in the evening and someone snoring at night in the room next to me.

Probably one of the BEST motels I've stayed at. Incredibly clean and up to date. I had one of the best night sleeps ever. Jennifer at the check-in desk was fantastic and informative

I didn't care too much for that coffee machine but that might be just me.

Great experience just outside of dead valley.

Small oasis just outside of Dead Valley. Has a private pool that's a small walk away from the property, with fresh hot water. Clean and well-equipped room, that was clearly just renovated. Gas station, diner, small shop, museum right next to the hotel.

Breakfast was basic but just enough to get going.
