Bad

I didn't like it at all. Cleanliness wise was poor. There were spiderweb throughout the room They give you coffee and tea packs but no cups. My husband d and I actually checked for bed bugs. I wish I could get my money back!

Ok except for smell.

Room was VERY MUSTY!! I have asthma and suffered greatly.

Rustic, but clean. It was rather like summer camp. Service was superb.

There was no breakfast, as the listing said. I liked the price and I'm willing to deal with quirks, especially when the staff are so responsive. I couldn't the heat to turn on when I arrived. We texted until I got it to come on. I told him (text) about a light not working as I was leaving one morning g and when I returned it was fixed. It was easy to get to the places I needed to go.

I did not like the remote contact with the staff. It was easy enough to check it and he responded promptly to my texts, but it felt like I was talking to a ghost. The water was well water and had a bad taste, but they provided bottled water to drink.

My husband is dealing with painful red welts from bedbug bites🙁

No breakfast, but it was a good location. We were in Bailey’s Harbor for a wedding.

My husband had multiple bedbug bites on arms and back. These are very painful welts due to when a bedbug bites it takes a part of the skin with. I informed the owner immediately when my husband made me aware of this. He informed me he just bought the property and has not dealt with this. He needs to replace the bed if old and get bedbug canisters to fumigate to kill bugs and may need to be done multiple times. All bedding needs hot water wash and hot dryer setting. Pillows in plastic bags sealed. We were in room 5 but he needs to check all rooms. 🙁

One of my favorite places to stay in Door county. Very peaceful.

Very pet friendly and a good value. We love the trails for early morning dog walks.

We had a very pleasant visit to Door County, part of which was this motel.

No breakfast provided or expected, so that wasn't a problem. Liked the beds and that it was very quiet at night -- in fact, very quiet all the time. Did not hear any traffic noise..

Taste of the water. Could have provided some plastic drinking cups like many motels do.

We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. Rob was great every step of the way. Would definitely book again!

Great location. Easy check in and check out. the keyless entry was awesome!

The water does have a distinct smell but they are clear to explain why that is. It wasn't bothersome for us.

Would recommend to others, trails are good & owner is super.

Location was great. Place was very clean. Friendly basket of welcome treats was good.

Couldn't get hot or warm water in bathroom sink. Could use a small 2 shelf unit in bathroom to put stuff on.

It is easily accessible, the room was spacious, it had a microwave and refrigerator, we were 3 of us and were given an additional cot for no extra charge. Also the property has a hiking trail.

Enjoyed our stay

Large room. Very clean. Friendly service. Great communication prior to our visit.

Bathroom was a bit rough around the edges but everything worked well and did the job.

Great time

Was happy to have a fire pit/ had a fire every night. Also a grill was provided and we used that 2 of the nights we were there. A nice cozy quiet place

Room was clean, big, no coffee had to buy thermos at store, windows didn't work.

Windows didn't work. Had to call owner at 9:30 at night. Owner came & closed. First time he answered the phone. No coffee in in room called about it 3 times. No return call.

The area in back for outdoor games and small trails.

Fun and affordable, centrally located to hit the po parks and towns.

Keyless entry, lots of games, DVDs, a public grill and hiking paths. Laid back and super friendly owner.

The water comes from an aquifer that has too much iron and sulphur. It may be safe to drink, but it is undrinkable. We filled our fridge with bottled water for the duration of our stay.
