Nice location and Gudrun, noise from freeway on balcony
Room was nice
The noise from the freeway when sitting on balcony not worth the additional cost for the balcony

- very modern and upscale - nice pool and setting area - clean
- Nothing much is going on - parking is expensive and takes forever - staff seems to need more training

the staff was not adequate for for the price of the hotel
a) The bed's matress was quite comfy. b) The rainforst-like shower was very pleasant! c) given I had to work at the meta MPK office the location was great for me but keep in mind this is a double edged sword: There is NOTHING else!
a) When checking in, the receptionist gave me the impression I was more of a bother. She didnt explain me anything about the place either b) I wanted to order room service at 6pm and I had to make 5 calls to do so. Most of the time I got routed to the public automated hotline. I called the general reception and got the same treatment as with checkin. I finally did order and while pricey but ok. (I'd not recommend it) c) But what really got me was that housekeeping kept knocking on my door at 11pm for ~10min to deliver towls. I had to wake up and answer the door and they didnt even apologize for waking me. (Call me old-school but I dont harass ppl in the middle of night :D)

Very clean building, even cleaner rooms.
No complimentary breakfast/over priced options. Over charge for valet parking.

Good stay
Everything looks new and we’ll maintained, modern style, very sleek and clean.
Some staff seemed inexperienced and not well trained.

Wonderful!
Comfortable beds, clean stylish rooms, balcony access, beautiful pool and bar areas.
Food menus are limited, we had to go out for breakfast options.

Nice quiet over-priced hotel. Walkable to nothing. Not quite “luxury”.
Kid menu food was good; Nicois salad was good; nice fitness center; level 2 conference center seems nice; refillable water bottle station = good touch. Very quiet hotel in general = good. Nice temperature in hot tub.
Beds are slack (not firm) - like too much pillow topper on a not great mattress. The floor wasn’t that clean in the guest room. The black out curtains didn’t close enough to be blackout. One of the pool seating areas is weirdly and unnecessarily elevated above the main pool level. The hot tub was filthy with debris floating all over it at night (during operational hours). Weird restaurant layout - narrow entry to bar/restaurant and confusing because no host is waiting at the entrance to greet the guests. So guests are left standing at entrance and guessing what to do next. No signage indicates that guests should seat themselves or whatever is intended for them to do. The booth seats are way too low for the height of the tables (grown woman needs a booster seat) and clearly built for a tall man. The $37/day valet is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Heated pool could’ve been warmer. Restaurant closes for like 2 hours between lunch and dinner (boo); complimentary coffee/tea station in lobby is removed in morning (boo); poor cell service indoors (AT&T).
