The location. The beds were very comfortable, it had plenty of kitchen utensils the washing machine and drier were very handy. The big windows are like live picture frames every morning a different landscape
Not much but if I had to point out the only down it was the shower, quite small with the curtain and sometimes intermittent hot/cold.

Our stay at the lodge was an absolute delight, perfectly blending comfort with stunning natural surroundings. Nestled in an exceptional location, it served as an ideal sanctuary for our family getaway. The lodge itself is wonderfully cosy, beautifully appointed, and maintained to the great standard, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere where we instantly felt at home. The surrounding landscape is truly breathtaking. We spent hours immersed in the tranquil serenity of Lake Esk a stunning, peaceful gem that is an absolute must-visit and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the magnificent Benmore Botanic Garden nearby. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional hospitality of our host, Abigail. From a seamless, effortless check-in to her prompt and attentive communication throughout our stay, her dedication was evident in every touchpoint. She has thoughtfully anticipated every possible need, outfitting each room with everything required for an effortless stay and genuine helpfulness made us feel completely looked after. We departed with wonderful family memories and would return in a heartbeat.
