Very convenient for us with a camper that needed to be parked and cleaned and tidied before we fly home. The kitchen had a large fridge and everything we needed for cooking. The bedroom was large for repacking our bags and equipment. The bathtub was easy to get in and out of. There were no other guests staying so we had the place to ourselves. Close to direct metro line into town.

It is hard to find anything I like. The kitchen is big but shared with all guests. I only took a cup of water in the kitchen but did not use it for any cooking.

It is a liittle hard to find the property. It is located in a neighborhood that has some homeless people. And the owner designed a very complcated way to take the room key, that can drive you crazy. It looks smart but actually very stupid. When you called the management to seek help to open the door, nobody answered. The guesthouse was transformed from a single family home. But the owner did NOT make any necessary reconstruction to make it suitable to guests. I practiced my daily religious reciting at my own home, but the guests in other room complained. I practised it in my own room in all hotels before, but never received complaints. The room has bedbugs, I believe. I was waken up by sensing a bedbug climbing on my leg around 3:30am.

Even though it is close to a metro station, it is still significantly far from downtown. It wasn’t super clear from the online profile that the kitchen was going to be shared.

I would like to thank Brighton Guesthouse for a great stay in Seattle. The owner was always available, the rooms and kitchen facilities were excellent. The neighbourhood was relaxed and the house is close to the train station. I really recommend it to others!
