We booked only the hotel room, pool was included. pool dip was nice at night.
Hot water shower and bath tub was not working and a/c timer was on. During night it was on and off, hence broke the sleep.

Breakfast is very good and abundant. Fully traditional ranging from salt to sweet plates. Charged around $6 per person.
Check-in. The worst of our stay in Sri Lanka. The man who welcomed us acted like a boss, but then we realised he was just a member of staff. After some difficulty finding our booking, he asked us to pay for the room immediately. I politely asked him if we could pay later, as this was unusual for me. I was pretty sure breakfast was included, but it wasn't, and we were a little disappointed, as we had paid more than the standard average price for that room. After that, the owner arrived and offered us free breakfast during our stay (2 nights). We really appreciated that. There were other misunderstandings. On the second day, we went to have breakfast and the man (not the boss) told us that we had to pay and that breakfast was only free for the first stay. This was nonsensical and very strange to hear. Without causing any trouble or showing disappointment, we went back to our rooms, packed our bags, went downstairs to pay the bill and had a coffee. The owner asked us why we were leaving and begged us to stay, telling us that breakfast was free and that his employee had misunderstood... it was really funny! In the end, we had breakfast and the man kept apologising, saying it was his boss's fault. The staff are unprofessional; the boss should teach them how to behave better.
