This completely-remodeled, sun-lit and spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo at The Point at Alii Kai (Unit 5-302) welcomes your group to an unforgettable vacation in Princeville, where you'll face jaw-dropping, direct Pacific Ocean views on Kauai's North Shore. Every room of this TOP FLOOR, quiet condo has a VIEW of the whitewater ocean and Anini Reef, so you can easily watch the Pacific's dramatic, ever-changing colors. From pink sunrises with your coffee (or a tropical fruit smoothie from the Bullet blender) to golden sunsets over dinner. You may even spot whales during migration season! Pictures don't fully capture the simple, elegant, Island feel inside this thoughtfully decorated condo. A sparkling complex pool under palm trees rounds out the experience. Bed & Bath Because both bedrooms feature ocean views and their own private bathrooms, this condo perfect is for two couples (or honeymooners who want a little extra space) looking to get away. It is also great for families, as care has been taken to provide cooking and beach amenities, and the recent remodel and top floor location provides a comfortable and quiet environment. Note that this vacation rental does not have A/C. Kauai's lovely trade winds, mild temperatures and eco-conscious philosophy make A/C uncommon here. Activities Our well-located spot in Princeville is surrounded by mountains, ocean, and Kauai hospitality. If adventure calls to you, the incomparable Na Pali Coast Trail is about a half-hour drive away. This hike-in only trail introduces you to Kauai's untouched wilderness and panoramic vistas from 3,000 foot cliffs. Or grab the boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkeling gear—all of this is provided for you at the condo!—and head to the beach. Lifeguarded Waioli Beach in Hanalei is great for boogie boarding or surfing, followed by a poke bowl from a food truck. Anini features an up-close view of the reef and is great for snorkeling. Both are within 10 minutes of the condo. Just one mile from home, stock up on dinner ingredients at the Princeville Shopping Center (and grab an iconic shave ice while you're there). Then use the sunny, modern, fully stocked kitchen to home-cook a meal to share at the ocean-view dining table. The Alii Kai also has a shared BBQ grilling station if you prefer an outdoors meal. Plenty of restaurants within a few miles provide yet another option for dinner. I'd like to say that my wife and I did enjoy our stay here a lot, especially the ocean view. We ran into issues when we'd first arrived to where there was an issue with the property management's system and the space wasn't cleaned from the previous stay, and we weren't informed about this until later on our check-in day after a long day of flights. They were very accommodating though and made things right ASAP, so our stay was still very pleasant. Overall, this is a very nice property if you don't mind not having A/C. It got a bit warm some nights, but still overall comfortable.

Loved the condo. Location is amazing. Super comfortable space. We got to see a bunch of whales from the lanai which was so fun. It would have been cool if they had provided binoculars. Other than that 10/10 would recommend.

The view from every room was absolutely amazing, the place seemed to have been recently renovated and was cleaned so well. We had everything we needed and the bed was soo comfortable! We had such an amazing time and the property was quiet and calming. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing place. Very close to beautiful hikes in the beaches. The condo was very nice and very clean. Incredible view from every room with full ocean exposure. .We would definitely recommend it and would consider returning ourselves.

Everything about the property was A+++. Location, view, cleanliness, appliances, ease of check-in, etc … if we visit Kauai again, my mom is already talking about staying here. Cannot say enough good things about the property.

We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean, not a lot of clutter, and the location was perfect! There were little extra things already here that were really convenient. (Chairs, umbrella, blow dryer, and the treats were very nice as well.) We had everything we needed while staying here and would definitely stay here again! Mahalo

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Wonderful, unobstructed views and breeze from the water. The unit had more space than we could even use, with separate living and dining areas and a full kitchen with a large island countertop. The unit seems to have been recently renovated, was very clean throughout, and the new appliances were a nice plus too. The unit also had a good collection of beach chairs and toys for guests to use during their stay.

The condo had all the modern conveniences you might need. There were some areas that could use improvement: Living room was: sparsely furnished and the couch needs replacing. The kitchen had only two coffee mugs (there were additional small cups) and the second bedroom had no dresser yet plenty of room for one on the wall in the closet. Bed pillows are in desperate need of replacement as are all of the toxic and overly scented cleaning products. Kauai is a sensitive ecosystem and additionally many people (like me and my friend) are highly sensitive to heavy chemical scents. Please consider switching to natural products—safer for people and the planet! Mahalo.

The condo was clean, had every amenity we needed, and all instructions for check in and check out were clear. The cliffs at Princeville met all of our expectations and more with just a short ride to Hanalei, spectacular views, and the added bonus of watching whales play every morning off the balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this place but there are some things I can't get past.
The unit was spotless and had everything you need.
The location was great! I sleep so great with the sound of the ocean.
The property management company was the absolute best to deal with. They were super responsive and supportive when we couldn't get to the island due to COVID, twice. They made it work for us, which we sincerely appreciate.
BUT there are a few things that I can't get past:
1. The primary bathroom situation. As an adult, I really need a door for the bathroom. The semi-broken room divider is sad. We had to tell our kids not to go #2 in that bathroom so that the entire bedroom didn't stink. Dear owners, please invest in an actual door. People need privacy in the bathroom.
2. While this unit was non-smoking, the property/complex seemed to allow smoking. Anytime someone in another unit smoked, it filled up ours with cigarette smoke. Gross. Had I known this, I would not have booked this unit.
3. There is no storage in the 2nd bedroom, 1 small nightstand, and NO drawers for your clothes. There is a nice size closet, but you can't exactly hang your underwear and socks. My kids had to live out of a suitcase on the floor.
While we did enjoy our stay and the unit in general the bad outweighed the good this time for us.

Can't beat the sound of waves crashing
Property was as advertised, updated and clean. Ocean and mountain views were wonderful! Close enough to activities on the north shore of the island. No direct beach access, but nice beaches within 10-15 minute drive.

Excellent for Whale watching
Great location! This condo is perfect for oceanfront views and all day whale watching! The windows allowed for great trade winds. It is fully equipped for cooking. We had a maintenance request that was handled timely. The only minor request would be having nightlights for each room. We would definitely book again, thanks for letting us stay at your home!

Property management was very responsive and the property guide and instructions were very helpful. The location and views are absolutely beautiful. The unit was nicely kept and decorated and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay, (and so much more). We would absolutely recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

Fall Asleep Listening To The Ocean Waves
We loved our stay at this property. The condo is clean and modern, and the view? Fabulous! You’re perched on a cliff with nothing beyond but the blue Pacific. We left the windows open every night and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves crashing on the rocky shoreline below.

Wonderful location, beautiful sunsets, easy walk up, great remodel with updated appliances. Accurately listed as no A/C, but this was manageable as long as there was a breeze. Most units do not have a/c here. Really enjoyed the stay. Would stay again.
